Making Paris goals happen – FTSE publishes David Cox blog

FTSE Russell has published a blog by David Cox, Deputy CIO and Head of Listed Markets at Brunel, on how investors can turn Paris goals into reality.

Brunel and FTSE Russell worked closely together to develop a series of new Paris-aligned benchmarks that would better enable investors to realise the goals of the Paris agreement – even through index investing.

In the blog, David Cox (left) argues that asset owners and managers have to be part of the answer to making Paris goals a reality. He gives the example of the recent benchmarks series, whereby a range of factors and data types ensures that the complexity of the challenge can be met without losing sight of the larger goal.
