Brunel Pension Partnership one year in
On 18 July, Brunel Pension Partnership celebrated our first birthday, remembering the successful progress of the last twelve months with our Client Group. Mingling in the Brunel office in Bristol provided us with a chance to mark the occasion with cupcakes, conversation and lots of laughter!
Our CEO Dawn Turner’s daughter and friend did us proud passing out canapes and refreshments, and our photographer Rebecca Huggins (who was in to take some staff pics for our People page) caught candid snaps of the evening.
So much has happened in only a year. The majority of our team members have joined us since last October, when we moved into the office on Bristol’s Victoria Street. These days it’s possible to arrive at work and find every desk occupied! We’ve had to order new desks to ensure everyone has a seat. As a team, we’re often out and about attending meetings with our clients and affiliates who help us to keep learning, as well as sharing our knowledge. The investments team, led by CIO Mark Mansley and pictured below, are particularly busy at present as the first asset transitions get underway.
Our CEO Dawn Turner and Chair Denise Le Gal (who missed the celebrations as she was attending her daughter’s graduation – another important event!), attend conferences and round tables to share and glean knowledge, which ensures we remain on top of industry developments. Happily, our executive team and non executive board members have years of expertise to contribute. CRD Matthew Trebilcock and team liaise closely with our Clients so that they remain at the heart of every decision we make. CRIO Faith Ward is often occupied with building strong relationships with our affiliates, while CCRO Laura Chappell and the compliance team, along with Chief Operating Officer Joe Webster and the operations team, keep us firmly on track.
Behind the scenes there are more than 30 of us working hard to contribute to the smooth sailing of Brunel in partnership with our client groups and around 700,000 beneficiaries. So for one evening it was lovely to take a breath, and say cheers to everyone we work with and on behalf of. Here’s to forging better futures!
