International property: An office on the pathway to net zero

This 20-storey office building in Docklands, Melbourne, is located close to public transport. Its strong environmental credentials include 5.5 Star NABERS energy & water rating, 6 Star NABERS indoor environment rating and 6 Star As Built Green Star rating as well as a Carbon Neutral certification (under the Australian Government Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standards).

Sustainable technologies were central to the design and construction of the property with the installation of solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system reducing the properties reliance on the standard electricity grid and municipal water supply. End-of-trip facilities encourage occupants to consider clean transportation methods along with electric vehicle charging. Strategies have been implemented to ensure these strong environmental credentials are maintained and where possible improved upon.
